EDC = electronic damping control; is a fully automatic suspension damper (shock absorber) contol system. The special shocks are located in the front and rear. The shocks are designed with a solenoid valve that controls the flow of oil through pistons that will give a soft, medium or firm setting...all dependent on driving parameters received from various sensors mounted on/around the car.

LAD = load absorption damping; a self-leveling REAR suspension which adjusts to load. These special shocks are located in the rear only...and usually are only installed on the "iL" models.

Q

I don't know if its called EDC or not, but the self-leveling suspension is applicable to the rear, only
