The URL listed in the response by alanK mentions that german paints tend to react to polymer based waxes in strange ways. Hopefully this is your case. I can vouch for the hazy swirly marks showing when I used polymer wax on my car.


I brought my 97 to a detail guy and showed him the swirls. He assured me that he could get them out. He did some bufffing and polishing and did remove some swirls. But the car looks a little more dull. With the swirls there was more shine.
I boght some maguires polish and that helped alot, it looks good but when you look at the body at direct light you can see like a haze. I hope that he did not ruin the paint. anyone have any suggestions?
