The solenoid that opperates the pin probably needs to be replaced. I don't remember it being that expenive around $40.00. the solenoid is located behind a metal bar that can be seen when you open the battery acces panel.

When I lock the car with the remote, the gas cap door is supposed to lock to...however, the pin that is supposed to slide out and lock it does not activate. Anyone else have this problem and were you able to fix it yourself?

If so, any suggestions?
