Rotors that are actually drilled to provide the holes are weakened and don't really add much in terms of brake efficiency. Rotors that are cast with the holes from the start are much better. I like the look of the drilled rotors but I'm hesitant to put something on that has been drilled. I'll wait until I can afford a Mov'it setup....although that's about as much as another car...ugh!

Hey guys,

I know the benefits of using cross drilled rotors for higher performance cars. Are there any disadvantages to using them for normal street driving. I have certainly seen them on other cars, but their presence is mostly cosmetic.
