My '97 540 was lighting quick, smaller lighter car. However, that is why I sold it. To me, it was too small. The passenger door was not very far away. Great car though. I went to a 2001 740i Sport. Wow! Bigger inside & out, better ride, and just an overall more impressive/impossing car. I miss that acceleration though.
Can't race Z28's anymore (540 was slightly modified).
