Ticking sound when accelerating (archive)

Hi all,
In my 728i ('99), I can hear ticking noise coming fro the right side when I step on the gas an accelerate. This noise came after I had an accident last Oct. damaging my front hood and engine fan. However, the dealer replaced all this and after while I’ve noticed a humming/hissing sound and now it sounds clearly like ticking. BYT, it seems that my right headlight is shaky, noticeable when driving at night.
