while you should never get into any car with mud, hot tar or wet paint dripping from your shoes, carpet seems durable enough to get cleaned regularly when being detailed--while the black black is "easier" than the sand interior, have had a white/sand 5 series that while you have to be more aware of dark marks on the carpet, at least does not show every crumb,or speck of lint on the carpet--as far as the leather--just keep conditioned and cleaned with a got leather product--meguiars and lexol make good, easy to use products


The saga continues... still looking for a pre owned 740i with sport package. found one but its Oxford green with sand color interior. The carpets are very light color as is the leather seats. will it be tough to keep in clean condition. over all the car is in beautiful shape. The color combo is stunning. This might be the one.
