bushings and that did the trick. As the bushings wear they soften up and it changes the susupention angle, thus putting a strain on the steering pump. Check to see if the triangle steel bushing is rubbing on the frame/or housing, if so that's it.



The power steering effort seems to get harder to steer at low speeds after about 10 min. of driving. Has anyone had this problem? What can it be and how much. It is a 96 740il
