E65 More than high tech? (archive)

While driving my E38 yesterday and considering whether I should drop into my local BMW store, to check out the new E65, I wondered how closely the boys in Munich studied the E38 prior to dreaming up the E65. While fully enjoying my ride at 150km/h (yes well over the legal limit) I noticed a cold draft originating from the the front seam of my door. The draft was enough to cause some discomfort to my left leg. Odd, I thought, considering that my E38 has never been hit, is in mint condition, and has relatively low mileage. Being that I am a smoker, yes I know - boo on me, I drive with my sun roof in the tilt position, and low and behold by closing the sun roof completely the draft was gone! Design flaw? I would have thought such brilliant thinkers would have considered this ;-o No big deal, still love my ride.......
