There are a couple of companies out there that produce OBDII monitors that will connect to the E38, however as far as changing any of the cars' firmware, the only device out there is a MoDiC. The part can be purchaced from BMW, however the cost is around $16K.


Does anyone now if there is any aftermarket software to put on a laptop so i can monitor and or change car info.
I have a VW and VAG-COM software that lets me do almost anything the dealer can do.
