I agree with Scott, but keep in mind that bad control arm/thrust arm bushings will make the car overly sensitive to even the slightest warpage in the rotors or wear in the steering linkage. I went through this on a 5 series a few years ago. BMWs are famous for it.

Just my .02,

I would remove the rotors and have them checked for warpage. They may have warped even at 6 months. If they are alright, I would move to steering components. Tie-rod ends, bushings etc. I am a DIYer, but I have found it cheaper to take my cars to a good frontend place to get steering componets checked out. I don't have the tools to do the alignments if I do replace a steering component.

I have a 95 740il. The steering wheel shakes when I brake, however there is no shimmy at high or low speeds. Today I started to hear creaking noises comming from the front suspension. When I push down on the from of the car you can hear the noise. I just changed the brakes and rotors 6 months ago. any ideas?
