After my wife bought here e-38, I came to this board and read pages and pages of old post. I did this for a couple of weeks, sometimes spending more than a couple of hours...Just reading about all the problems and experiences owners wrote about. When I finally did post, I introduced myself and thanked everyone for all the great info they posted here...I also wrote that I had no questions because I combed through all the old post and found all the answers (and more) I had about the car.

I'm sure the old timers were relieved that I wasn't the lazy type, who, upon visiting this for only a minute, posted a general question and expect everyone to re-post the e-38's inherent problems and tech info that they spent hours themselves typing in the past. This type of questions keeps coming up...Perhaps this board needs a 'sticky-thread' explaining to new users that there is a 'search' feature and how to use it.

It's only proper etiquette, that one does a search, or reads earlier post first on forum/ bulletin board like this one.

Please so a search, you will find a lot more info than you will get by just simply asking such a general, broad, and often asked question.
