I have a 735il and a 740il. I replaced the rotors myself on each with BMW rotors at after market prices. Ordered them through where I have found to be the cheapest place on the net. Sweeney BMW in Ciny, OH. I'm in Indianapolis and have found these guys to be excellent to order through....unbelievable cost savings on everything. Make sure if you call you say you saw them on the internet ----there net prices are better than walk in.


Hey guys. My parents have a 96 740iL that they have had since new. Anyways, since my parents really drive cars into the ground, I wanted to know what you guys thought of aftermarket rotors. We are kind of tired of paying ~$2k for break replacements every year or so (the car currently has over 100k miles on it). My Dad has talked with some shops about finding some harder aftermarket rotors and they say not to go with aftermarket stuff. This true? Whats the common consensus on this board about aftermarket braking? Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it.
