First, sorry for all the typos. I keep the car very shiny and perfectly polished. It's not claw scratches, although that happened once. It's actually like the pads on his paws have fine sandpaper on them. If I rub my finger on the paint hard, I can do the same damage. Maybe I should use hand lotion on the cat and me.

We don't keep the cat in the garage, but the kids open the garage to play outside and the cat comes in to sleep on my warm car.
