Infinity Bass Link Question (archive)

Guyz,
Most of my mods have been performance oriented. I am considering audio and I like the Infinity Bass Link idea. I wonder if this would work?
Mount the bass unit upside down between the two rear deck speakers and install a speaker grille between the existing rear deck speakers. Does anyone know if this has been done? Does anyone know where I can get a grille that closly approximates the OEM grilles there (sand interior)?
