BMW dealer said to keep away from flushes and instead to regular services/maintenance.

Some engine flushes promise that the engine will run cooler and in fact the product is so good that your engine can run without oil without overheating because of the special coating this product provides. So, once an M3 rolled in to the dealer that happened to have a melted engine and grinded rings, etc... The owner told him that he had used the flush treatment. Because the engine had run so cold due to the miracle product, the sensors did not understand and did not deliver the oil properly through the engine that eventually killed the engine.

Ghassan.

Anyone on the board use engine flush periodically when changing your oil?
