I do not know about upgrading but did have the dealer install a cpt8000 fresh last month, so an upgrade should certainly be possible. You will likely need all new hardware (unless the mic can be reused) so the cost might be close to the same as a new install. If you have any questions about the functionality once the phone is installed let me know and I'll try to help.


Does anyone know about a upgrade for cell phone in a 1998 740il. The one I have is analog only.
