That picture really tells the story, big time. I'm sure that 1.9" drop will look good; I can't wait to see your finished product. I was afraid the 1.9" was too much, so I opted for the 1.6" instead, but hell now that I see there is still plenty of clearance on my front after 1.6" drop, I guess I could have gone the extra .3" and still come out looking good. Oh well.

No, I have not done the H&R rears yet. I'm going to wait until after the 19" Inspirations go on, then I'll decide from there. I'm thinking I may have to put the brand new H&R rear springs up for sale anyway, because the rears now look low enough for my taste...

Until then,
Randy

Randy,

Actually, I really won't know until I install the H&R's, but I don't think so. My setup definately won't be as low as those guys who cut and then recoil there springs, plus these should maintain a more stable ride. ;) The rear will not be any different from an Eibach set-up which is 1.3" front and 1.3" rear but I'm hopeful that the H&R 1.9" drop up front will provide a much more agressive profile. My main concern is how the Bilstein HD struts will handle the extra stress since they don't make a "Sport" strut for our cars.

Incase we forget, you can checkout my car's "grasshopper" effect below and remind yourself why I wanted to go as low as an after-market set-up could go. ;)

So, did you install your rears yet? Can't really tell from the recent Atlanta luncheon pics, being 0.6" and all.

Later,
Mike D.

Do you think dropping the front/rear that much will be too low? Just curious, because I've never seen an E38 yet with that H&R setup yet...

Randy
