There is a hole in the sound image between 40Hz and 100Hz which I have tried to fill in with the DSP EQ function. The LD button (Loudness) on the radio also makes the bottom end more acceptable to my ear, but it is not as pleasant to listen to or as well balanced as other car systems I've had and heard. There is some really good information on the web about the BMW DSP System and an analysis of the response of the car using it. I tried to find it again but it is gone from my favorites list. I downloaded the data so if you want it send me an email and I'll send it. It is not my work, but I guess the guy who did it was into sharing it since he posted it on the web for everyone to read.
