Side Window (Small) Shade Removal? (archive)

Can anyone post instructions on how to remove the rear side window (small) shade. This is the one that covers the small fixed window.

The TIS is not real clear on how it is attached. It looks like it is some clips that need to be pried one way or another to get it loose. I assume that someone has done this attempting to replace rear door speakers as I am certain that the shade must come out before the door panel can be removed. I cannot seam to get it off.

My 98IL seams to have some sort of short in the speaker wiring in the rear door panel. At times I get a popping sound and a significant amount of muffled static in addition to the sound.
