due to weather conditions. I take my vehicles to the car wash at least twice a month during the winter--hard to personally hand wash your car when it's cold as hell out. Luckily, I have a local car wash where the workers wash the cars by hand with mitts. I think I should be receiving a paycheck from them as I spend so much time in their facility! :-) In the warmer months I wash my own at home. I just hate a dirty vehicle!

Alex - I agree and avoid car washes period. Nothing is safer for your finish than a proper hand wash and it gets your car cleaner than any type of auto - my $.02. Griots products, P21S and Zymol have served me well. A number of my Bims look like brand new paint even after 10 years of use/80,000 - 100,000+ miles. I don't find that dust hurts any - but bird c... and be a disaster, along with some very acidic fruit tree blooms or soft drinks. I am down to washing about once every 3 - 4 weeks; some are garaged and some aren't.
