The autodetailers forum says the water blade and california duster causes scratches in teh paint. I never usse them so I can't say but these guys and girls who respond to the questions on this forum seem to know their stuff so I'd believe them. White 100% cotton towels with all the endging cut off is what I use to dry teh water off before it has the time to dry and spot. If you get spots, they come off when you polish and wax the paint. Windex is not be allowed to get on the paint, right? If so, you need to wash ti off with water and reapply some wax to proptect the finish where it was.

GO ehre ot learn all you need or want ot about detailing cars
