All the V8 E38 and E39 had RB steering. It gives
the steering smoother and more luxurious feel
than the R&P which is in all of the 6 cylinder
E39 models. I think the suspension in the V8
models makes it impossible to shoe horn in the
R&P. If I am not mistaken even the E39 M5 has
RB steering.
