Cherry - The TIS suggests taping exterior perimeter of sunroof opening to the roof to determine if that is the source of noise.
If so, then it suggests replacement w/ new gasket. It is also specified that the glass be flush-to-1mm lower at front edge; and flush-to-1mm higher at rear edge than surrounding roof.
My experience has been that if I pushed the switch (as when moving into vent position) in small increments, the noise was substantially reduced - indicating, I think, that my sunroof needed adjustment of its "parked" position.

Thanks for the tape recommendation. I will try that first.
