RVtec,

Are you the original owner of the car? If so did the dealer inform you that the car was painted do to transportation issues? There is a law case, Gore -vs- BMW, where the car was repainted and sold as new, without disclosure to the buyer. To make a long story short BMW lost the case and had to pay a hefty fine. If you brought the car 2nd hand, sounds like some damage was done that you were not informed of.

I would use the same body shop that the local BMW dealer use, that's how I selected the shop that painted my bottom black trim.
