Non-tinted area At base of windshield is for Rad. detectors, toll cards (like for GA 400), etc. There's one at top for windshield wiper-rain detector, if you have that incorporated into the rearview mirror base. +12V (ign. on) and ground are avail. under roof motor switch access panel.
