call alan at autobuy--770-623-4444--trust him, and has done good work for me, and local for you as well--and not as outrageous as guys like global--heard they're billing $110/hour now, but they promise, it's the same lousy service they gave before!--seem to recall that you have done a bunch of diy stuff, but thought i'd pass on his name just in case--

My dyno test was performed at 1425 RPM's and the CO+CO2% was read at 14.6 vs. allowable 6.0 minimum

I pulled my inspection report from a year ago and the readings were as follows:

HC = 9 of an allowable 99
CO = .05 of an allowable .55
NO = 13 of an allowable 677
CO+CO2 = 14.9 of an allowable 6.0 min

All readings above passed a year ago. The only thing I can come up with form searching earlier posts are bad o2 sensors.

Circle BMW is quoting $133 each.

Any ideas on what else it could be and do you know where I can get the best price on the o2 sensors?

My 95 has 110 K miles, replacement block about 20K ago. The cats are in bad shape, rattle like a box of marbles.

The California test is on a dynamometer

At last emission test:

HC 15 MPH reading = 29 allowable = 79
25 MPH reading = 15 allowable = 44

CO 15 MPH reading = 0.01 allowable = 0.45
25 0.01 0.42

NO 15 MPH reading = 1 allowable = 968
25 MPH 1 828

Can you provide O2 and CO2 or other values?
