NEED HELP! CPT8000 Problem (archive)

Phone died so the dealier ordered me a new one, it works. My problem is that despite reading the manual and trying every combination I can think of, the phone will not ring.

The bell symbol has a slash through it, (meaning no ring) but what must I do to turn the ringer on? I can't figure it out!
