Groit's garage sells a DIY paint kit to respray them. Looks exceptionally easy. Nothing to lose by trying it. Good luck.

An good friend was pushing me hard to chrome. I have a 2001 740iL Oriental Blue. What do I do about some significant Curb Rash. I have lots of tools, and I was able to use a very high speed Fein sander to completely smooth out the scratches, but there is no paint or clear coat where I sanded out the scratches.

I'm getting new tires in the next couple of weeks. I can use the spare wheel as the curb rash wheel is a front wheel. I would then put the refurb wheel in the trunk as the spare.

Any good shops in Phx for M-Parallel repaint? Also, what do you all do about small dings in the clear coat? I have only 13K miles and there are several rock type dings on each wheel...joe
