I have recently programed two new BMW's to the "intellicode" (Genie random-code) system.
Remember that your universal/in car transmitter is nothing more than a fixed remote, and must be programed in close proximity to the actual garage door opener, while the "learn" button is activated on the opener...the logic/steps to follow can be a little confusing, but I promise you they do work...fine. If you have issues, call the Genie Hotline for help @ 1-800-35-GENIE...
