had same problem on my 96 740.car was cranking but would not start.it was the fuel pump.it was working but had no pressure.check that out it might be your problem.


Thanks steve.. I am trying to locate the access to the pumps, but I guess I have to tear out the liner under the seat to get to them. There doesn't appear to be a port or a good spot to measure pressure in the engine compartment.
