might be more doable is possibly a couple East Coast E38 "sister" units, maybe NorthEast (MA. to VA.) and SouthEast (NC. to FL.) that can get together bi-monthly or quarterly around some Regional event. Then semi-annually or annually, we all get together at some major event in NC/SC for a blast. Personally, although I am not sure about the others, I'm sure a regular Regional event in/around Philly would not be a major problem to attend for the NYC/NJ to DC/VA guys.

I'll leave it to the SE guys to chime in on what locale works best for them, geographically.

Just my .02 cents. By the way, what the hell does Alex's new ID mean? ;)

Ladies, Gentlemen,& Interested Third Parties,

Someone at the DC Meet & Greet had suggested the formation of an (initially) informal E38 enthusiast club. Something like:
East Coast E38s
or
Eastern E38s

The idea is to create a club with a view to approach BMW in Spartanburg SC. as a group and do things like meetings/driver's schools,

or we could affiliate ourselves with a BMW club on a local basis and use their events as a nucleus for us.

A line of 7s rolling on a cruise or participating in a rally with a BMW CCA event sounds like it would be waycool.

Gee, maybe we could even have our own club emblem or logo.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Simeon
