Hell, your car is practically still new, since you only have 36k miles on yours, so I'd say your shocks have a long way to go.

Most guys here upgrade to the Bilstein HD shocks, however. I'm cheap and stubborn, so I kept my originals on... :)

Just curious, how long do the stock shocks, (I think they are Boge), last for a 1999 740iL?? I have 36.5K miles on mine and am about to do the H&R upgrade/1.3" front & .60" rear.
