So beware - All you guys changing/removing your headlight assemblies - that trim piece CAN be reinstalled incorrectly. When installed properly it should tilt out at top to match angle of glass headlight cover. (When I first reinstalled one of mine, I slid it into place w/out engaging the retaining tabs at the bottom into the supporting plate - it was too vertical.) Another clue was that the plastic retaining clip (at end toward grill) did not engage.
BTW - I removed my assemblies, opened them, and cleaned the interiors (back side of glass covers and plastic highbeam lenses). I was so pleased with the improved appearance, I have shelved plans of further headlight upgrades - for now.

So, how much is it gonna cost me to replace it? Do they come in factory colors, or will it have to go to the body shop as well?
The fit wasn't too snug after I took it off for my bumper trim replacement. Seems it was lost somewhere on the freeway during this weekend's road trip. (Maybe we were going too fast?!?)
