They will make it right. One option they offered was to swap for a chrome set of M Parallels. (they keep a set on hand and swap whenever a customer wants chrome) I have an Orient Blue, and a I was seriously considering the chrome, a dark '97 pulled up with Chrome M Parallels and I didn't like the look at all, the wheels seemed to disappear as the chrome is much darker than the silver with clear coat. I proposed that if within the next few weeks they get another customer requesting chrome, they swap one of the new guy's wheels for my wheel. If they don't get a set within 6 weeks, then they will buy me a new wheel. I like the swap idea as it's pretty fair, and I have a front wheel with some minor curb rash and they will swap that one for me too.
The guy with the '97 was having a new set of 20" BMW wheels installed. kind of a radial spoke design with a deep dish. 255*35 20" tires in front, and 275*30 20" tires in the rear. They looked awesome. He gave me a short ride, much less plush than my 18" wheels. I loved the look, not sure I would like the ride. He didn't know the weight difference, they didn't feel much heavier, but I'm sure they must be.
