The rear is easy. Basically open up the trunk compartments, unscrew and swap. I did mine in the FedEx parking lot when I picked mine up. I used the tools in the tool kit from the trunk.
Do the right side first, it is easier. The battery compartment just opens up. If you have one of the newest 750iLs with two batteries, you will have to unbolt a nut to swing the top battery out of the way.
For the left side, if you have navigation, you will have to pull the NAV CD drive. You have to insert tools into the holes on the sides and slip it out. You can buy the $5 tool radio removal tool at most stores that sell stereo wiring adapters. You can also use a bent coat hanger wire or finishing nails. Once you open the cover, you will find it easier if you remove one or two of the bulb holders to get better acccess to the nuts.
