There was quite a few complaints on this board about 'noisy windshield', so, I'd say, be VERY careful. Apparently, it's quite tricky to correctly set the windshield vertical position as well as depth of polyurethane spacer.
If I would be in your shoes, I would put the chief mechanic on the passenger seat, drive around >60mph Z:-), and tell him that if the new windshield generates any more noise than what you have with your existing windshield, you would not accept the repair.
