Anyone know the mystery of the extra bulb in the new clear tail lights? I noticed one that does not light and is not on the old assembly of the 1997 750. The extra light in on the bottom and inside of each assembly.

What I did at least as a temporary, but probably permanent hack was to use simple plastic headed bulletin board push pins like you use to post a piece of paper on a cork board I used this to wedge the patch wire behind the connector on the bulb socket (the one with the least clearance behind it is the one you want)and it seems to hold it tight without screwing up anything...if you want to remove later, easy to do....I'll let you know if they fall out after councing around on my 18" m pars....LOL
