which is the best tire setup for bond wheels? (archive)

ihad just bought a set of m bond wheels for my 96 e38.and would like to know the best tire setup.i am aware that you could put the standard 235 50 18 in the front and the 255 45 18 in the rear.but i also know that you could put 255 45 in the front and 275 40 in the rear.my question is,which would be the better tire setup for performance and comfort?also what brand tires do you guys think i should purchase?
