The brake lining sensors need to be replaced with the rotors and pads. If he did replace them, then they can take a bit of time to reset them selves after they are replaced. The brake fluid could be low, did you check it at the alster cylinder? If the level is OK, then it could be a bad sensor, but it would be a weird coincindence wouldn't it?
