Remember that the TIS/ETK CD's are produced by BMW for BMW dealer's and authorized repair centers.(primary users) Thus, these CD's are also another tool BMW uses to communicate the latest and greatest tech changes and updates to this same group - that is why these things are dated and why you can buy the current month and past month(s) "if available". Since your car is a '95 , using "last months" CD is very practical since most of the bugs have been worked through your model by now. As far as what $280.00 will purchase-it really depends upon what you want/need. The basic TIS, as I recall, is about
$135-150.00. The ETK is even more(parts catalog) and the Electrical Troubleshooting/Manual is even more. There are members on this and other BMW boards that can/might burn you a copy of one or more of these, however, your copy will only be as current as the one from which your copy is made...
