The last part of that README file states to delete the'Win95' folder on the drive where the ETK program was originally installed, or there may be errors on re-install I checked my install, and there was no 'Win95' folder, but there is a 'BMW95' folder.
I would click START->SETTINGS->CONTROL PANEL->ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and see if you can uninstall the ETK program - probably not since the install was not complete.
If uninstall is not an option, look to see if there is a 'Win95' folder on the drive where you installed the ETK software as described above. If there is, delete it. If not, delete the 'BMW95' folder and then reinstall.
