No need to compress springs if you're only replacing top bearing mount. Spring compressor is needed for strut or spring replacement.

Rear headrests come out w/ firm tap from below (be VERY careful not to crack rear window - keep hand/towel/etc. between top bend in supports and window).


Have had the rear car interior out last year to fit PDC - couldnt get the rear headrests out though is there a trick in removing them?

Only tool I dont have are spring compressors and I think I will I need to beg steal borrow a set to do this job.

WOuld be handy to know the sequence of stru replacement if thats not too much bother....
WIll the car need a 4 wheel alignmnet check after this is done?

Wish you guys werent over the other side of the pond cos there aint anything like this in the UK.
