dealing with in retro fitting the OEM rings to the 95-98 lights. His first attempt helped to steer us away from making the same error again, but no simple solution has presented itself yet. We are both working on something and will report once we have news.

By the way Dave (and anyone listening in), the rings can be bent if they are heated to @350 degrees. My local Tap PLastics office told me this, and usggested I used some sand heated to this temp. I guess I can get thsi done on my Bar-BQ. I was thinking that if the rings could be bent to exit toward the sides of the housings there may be enough room to fit the fiber connectors on??? I really wish I had a spare 95-98 healdight to prototype this set up.
