By the way Dave (and anyone listening in), the rings can be bent if they are heated to @350 degrees. My local Tap PLastics office told me this, and usggested I used some sand heated to this temp. I guess I can get thsi done on my Bar-BQ. I was thinking that if the rings could be bent to exit toward the sides of the housings there may be enough room to fit the fiber connectors on??? I really wish I had a spare 95-98 healdight to prototype this set up.
