My 98 does the same thing when it's been sitting for more than 48 hours. Sometimes the entire car shakes very noticably and takes about 30-45 seconds to stop. Never have the problem on warm starts or if it's been sitting less than 2 days.

I've never had it checked as I've heard this is common and not a problem.
