He did my 1987 635 last year. The whole thing was taken apart and a ton of rust was cut out and new metal welded in. As well rear glass was removed and a new front windshield, all for just over 6 grand. The car was gone for about 6 weeks...don't expect a rush job. In fact I think I was rushing him at 6 weeks, he would have liked a couple more.
