| Message: | When BMW took over the Glas factory in 1965, Glas was producing a slick little Frua bodied car called the Glas 1700GT. BMW continued production for a few years, with the BMW 1600 Ti motor and BMW rear suspension, and called it the BMW 1600GT. They shut down production in 1968 and transfered the tools to South Africa where production continued for a few more years. See the link below | ||||
