| Message: | | wow....just finished up the new radiator, thermostat, waterpump, hoses, and power steering pump..........what a job ......that long, thin bolt on the thermostat was really seized up.....I was afraid I would twist it off ......but I was patient and used the torch and coax method for about a half hour before she broke free .....also the stupid lower radiator hose wasn't quite formed with enough bend so it rubbed the alternator drive belt and burnt a hole through it...luckily I kept the old hose and reused it until I can get another .........was alot of fun using an undersized chain wrench and 32mm open end socket to get the fan off ......$@#^%#$^%$& ......water pump was the easiest to get off which has not been my experience on other vehicle makes.......in addition I somehow severed the wire to the left front brake pad wear sensor ....had to solder in a splice of wire .....looks like I may have routed the wire carelessly when I changed the brake pads 50K mile ago....although it is just now showing up so I couldn't have been that far off ..any way no more false signal
