Anyone familiar with a race called the 24 hours of LeMons
? The race is a parody of the more
famous 24 Hours of Le Mans - but in this event, participants can spend only $500 to purchase and prepare their cars.

Road & Track did a video of the first Lemons:

A friend read about therace in Car & Driver - finally, a race we could afford! Bought an `83 533i off Ebay, and we have been having a blast! The car has been thru three races now, and amazingly is still going strong.

Comcast did a video:
All of the in-car shots are from our car, and there are a few pics of
our car on the track - We're the BMW with the baby seat on top. One of the guys interviewed, Collin Baker, is also on our team.

We'd like to improve the suspension at bit, it's still stock . . .
